Is it hard learn how to play the piano?

I’m 13 years old, I played the trumpet for 4years and I really want to play the piano. I was wondering if its easy to learn the piano and if I could become a good player. I’m willing put in much effort into it. Also is it too late to start playing the piano now or is it the right age to start.

    i started when i was 13 too, and im amazing now
    dont quit, even when it starts to get annoiying, at the end, its worth it

    It’s never to late. Just keep trying and make sure it’s what you want to do. It is well worth your time and the sooner you start the better. If you are willing and determined, you can become really good. I know because I taught myself and it takes practice, dedication, practice, determination, and practice. If you get frustrated just take a break, and go at it again when you feel like you’re ready. It’s going to be easier for you than it would be for complete beginners to music theory. Work hard and good luck

    Sure, you could do it! Piano is complicated to play…but hey! It just takes practice! You should start out by getting private piano lessons. Don’t try anything too complicated at first, learn the C-scale first. It’s the most simple with all naturals so it should be easy. Get a beginner book and try some really easy songs. The trumpet doesn’t really make playing the piano easier, but iT’s good that you’ve had previous music experience. I’ve been playing the piano for 6 years, and when I started the flute at school, it really helped. Playing piano helps playing other instruments easier. Hope this helped, and good luck:)
